The Latvian course is one of only 14 used in the World Bobsled Championship and is one of the longest tracks in Europe - 1420 meters (1550 yards). The Olympic Bob reaches speed over 100km/h (60 mi/h), Tourist Bob over 70km/h (45 mi/h).
